Four interconnected areas give cooperation its shape

The Chamber works in four areas. Every project, partnership or initiative starts inside one of them, and almost always touches more than one.

Institutional foundation

International cooperation and relations

The Chamber opens and keeps channels of dialogue between the decision makers in both countries: ministries and embassies, trade associations, universities, local government and multilateral bodies. The projects in the other three areas start from these channels.

Engine of development

Innovation and the sustainable transition

The green and digital transition means two things in practice: new rules for entering the European market and new funding lines. The Chamber follows both and brings together companies, universities and research centres that can answer a call jointly.

Applied on the ground

Territorial development and cooperation

An Italian region has its own vocations, incentives and problems, and the same goes for a Brazilian state. The Chamber works with local government, companies and universities so the two sides meet where the interest is mutual.

Cultural diplomacy

Culture, tourism and the value of places

Culture and tourism open doors the economic agenda cannot open on its own. The Chamber uses these themes to bring communities closer, give visibility to the heritage of both countries and create occasions that later turn into cooperation.

Alignment with the SDGs

The Chamber was founded on the integrated vision of sustainable development set out in the United Nations 2030 Agenda. Its way of working, its areas of cooperation and its initiatives are therefore aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.
