Opportunities Map, edition of 01/09/2026

Period covered: 16 August to 1 September 2026

The main news is RAMP, the Raw Materials Partnership (Joint Transnational Call 2026): the first European call in which a Brazilian body can be funded inside a European consortium without a base in the EU, because Brazil comes in as a funding country through CONFAP and EMBRAPII, with the pre-proposal due on 22 September. Also entering is the Bando Sviluppo Tecnologico Startup Innovative of Regione Lombardia, worth €15.6 million in non-repayable grants, open to companies not yet resident in Italy.

Period covered: 1 to 15 August 2026

Smart&Start Italia, Invest in Italy / ZES Unica, Contratto di Sviluppo and SIMEST Fondo 394 remain open unchanged. Period covered: 16 July to 13 August 2026

The EIC Accelerator cut-off of 08/07 and the Eureka Network bilateral window have both closed; the next EIC cut-off is 2 September. The Invest in Italy / ZES Unica channel (MIMIT) now has an entry of its own, with a tax credit of up to 70% in southern Italy (a €2.3 billion allocation for 2026) and the Sportello Unico Nazionale as a free institutional entry point for foreign investors.

01/07/2026

Opportunities Map, edition of 01/07/2026

Period covered: 1 to 31 July 2026

Six European calls closed during the period (BioNetZero, GreenMantis, EIT Urban Mobility, EU-LAC Digital Accelerator, LIFE Circular Economy and the EUIPO IP Voucher). Three new national instruments enter the monitoring: Contratto di Sviluppo, ExTender/TED and Scoperta Imprenditoriale II. It is confirmed that Italian and European public tenders (TED) remain, as a rule, closed to suppliers from countries without a WTO GPA agreement, Brazil among them, except through an EU subsidiary or a consortium with a European partner.
